The H&S course and Level 1 Award are for first time card applications for the green card for labourers or if you are renewing a green card and do not hold the Level 1 Award.
The Level 1 Award in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment is achieved by a multiple choice, on-line test with 40 questions. Photo ID is required to take the test – please contact FaCT prior to the course date if you do not have photo ID. The results are issued on the day with certificates issued within a week. There is no revision material for the test but the content of the course covers the subject matter of H&S. Successful candidates will be awarded with the Level 1 in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment qualification. Please pre-advise if delegates have any reading or writing difficulties – we can organise a paper-based test with a reader but this must be organised prior to the course date. Any Level 1 re-sits will incur an additional charge.
